Cat opens freezer door for fishsticks

Oscar the Cat, a Devon Rex, has figyerd out how to open the freezer door for noms — in this case, frozen fishsticks. I have watcht this moovey about a hundred times and still can’t figyer out how he duz it.

I asked Oscar whut his sekrit was. “You have to want it,” he said. “Bad.”

I asked him for pointers. “You haff to have big mussels,” he ixplaned. “Jump up, grip the door handle like yer life deepends on it, then push off with yer bak legs. And you haff to praktiss a lot.”

That is one smart cat. We had a cat who would open the freezer door and get into the ice cream. It was a lot easier before the stove was fight nest to the freezer and all Chuck had to do was get on the stove and reach over to open the freezer. He never closed it, though. So much for the ice cream.
