Wooo Boy – Here we go…
Puff is our hairball queen and she loves to plot her yaks right around Daddy who is very squeamish. I’d have to say the best placement was about a month ago. Daddy had just come inside after mowing the lawn. He had made a sammich and was eating it in the living room. Puff decided that she’d hop up on the couch and sit next to Daddy. She then made the greatest yak noise I have ever heard and hurled a big hairball off the couch and on to his shoe.
Daddy almost yakked and yelled to Mommy to come quick with the paper towels. Puff jumped down and sat pn the living room floor and snoopervised the cleaning. I had to close my ears because the bad word list got used. A Lot.

I am posting for the extra chance at the Furminator giveaway. I will try to think up something for this one though!

  4. Shadow Dance Ranch Kittehs says:

Our furrbrother Shamus is the *King* of launching *furrballs*. He yaks, yaks, yaks and then just lets it fly as he is backing up. He can launch one about 2 feet, if he has good traction on the floor! Unfortunately, we don’t have any videos or pictures of him in action, to create a link to.

  5. Leonidas says:

I like to fake my people out! I start yorking and horking without coughing up any product, and then when I have their attention I run somewhere else and hork up a little bit, and while theyre cleaning that up I run into the bedroom and hock up a gigundo hairball on the pillows on the people bed. FUN!!!

I would love to win this contest! My 1.5 year old kitty Tobias has a problem coughing up hairballs :(

I rescued Tobias off the street when I first moved to this town. At that time he was just about a year old and although slightly feral, he would come when called and bribed with food. This is our first spring/summer together so I had no idea he had a problem with hair balls. For about a week he was making hairball coughing noises before I realized no hair balls were coming out! I’ve brushed him daily since getting him but I also I began feeding him anti-hairball food and remedy goo to help him poop it out. Once in awhile he still coughs but as long as he has his “medicine” he does ok. It’s barely summer and I’m already looking forward to Fall because I feel so bad about his hairballs!

  7. We haven’t left any hairballs yet because we’re still kittens, but our sister-before-us, Sweet Praline, left them all over the house. The thing about hers was that they were extremely messing and Mom Paula is still trying to get the stains out of the carpet! Maybe if we get on the hairball prevention food before we have them, we won’t have them.

  8. Marg says:

We have been having a terrible time with hairballs this year. Every time Mom walks through the house, there are many hair ball toss ups. And the kitties outside are tossing up their hairballs here. We have 20 cats here that are all rescues that really need this food. Wish I had seen this sooner so we could have done a post and some pictures. But thanks for having this contest.

  9. WARNING!!! CRIME SCENE EVIDENCE! PICTURE NOT FOR THE SQUEEMISH!

I waited a week for the suspect to hack up the evidence. And, just like clockwork, there ya go.

I have 3 cats but only Moe seems to have the hairball hurl. I groom him daily to no avail. po’ po’ Moe.

  10. Jo Donnald says:

KittyGirl is a 9 year old Ragdoll, loooooonnngggg hair, white/dark grey paws, loves the outdoors, but she is partial to coughing up the dark grey hairball slugs in the livingroom. Usually the hacking will prompt a fast removal to the back yard, but occasionally, even though she sleeps with Furminator, we do find a creepy crawly underfoot. I actually prefer the hairball slugs to the slimy creatures she finds in the back yard, where she basks in the sun on her own lawn chair.

  11. Francois le Furry says:

I git hareballz a lot. But my peepuls consider themselfs lucky cuz i can do it onto a peese of paper they put in frunt of me. They mite be saving my hareballs to make a skulpcher like the one up thare.

  12. Amy Orvin says:

I have 5 cats. Normally I don’t have an issue with hairballs until that Tuesday morning. I noticed something wrong with Reagan, my second biggest cat. He was making alot of noise and getting really close to the floor. You won’t believe what came out of him. I will show you a picture.
The picture below is Reagan’s Dreadful Tuesday Morning Surprise.

Once I hocked up a “J” which is the first letter in my name. I tried to write out the whole thing, but I ran out of hairball material.

  15. Ralphie and the Furries says:

I wish I could enter but I don’t git hareballs. My mum feeds me hareball food and gives me petrolmalt and grooms me with the furminator all the time.

  16. Banshee says:

I’ve bin waiting to git hairballz to show you a pichture of my artistry but since Hairball awareness day my mom has been furminating me every day and feeding me hairball food. Sometimes I try to make hairballs in my food dish so my sisters will git grossed out and won’t eat!

  17. Michelle Spayde says:

    We hate hairballs!!!
