Get Some Tail with this Fashion Accessory
I can’t believe that someone might be able to get funding for a human cat tail.
Shota Ishiwatari, the inventor of the “Tailly“, is raising funds for the project via Kickstarter. The Tailly is a fashion accessory that attaches with a belt. It has sensors rigged to detect the wearer’s heartbeats, and the appendage wags faster when the wearer gets excited.
Ishiwatari says,“Tailly is fun to wear to parties, while out with friends or playing with kids. You could even wear Tailly on a date and express your true feelings through the wagging tail. Even better, your partner could also wear one for the both of you to add a level of subconscious communication between the two of you.”

Ishitari is the genius behind those cat ears you wear that are controlled by your brainwaves. No word on whether you get a discount for buying the set, but early investors can get a premium-branded Tailly.

I am a bit irritated about this.Yes it is cute but much of faux fur is imported and the fur comes off animals who are sometimes skinned alive and left for dead! If the manufacturer specifies it is acrylic or other manmade fabric then maybe it is ok. But I am opposed to abuse of animals….as all of us on this site are….and these items leave me with a “what if….” thought in my head!
