Ask Max Monday: It’s Been Monday All Week…

Ask Max Monday

This was a good week for not getting questions…because I'd just be delaying them to next week.

Not a great week for me, doods. I haven't felt well at all. Didn't eat for days. Didn't sleep for a couple of days. Wound up at the stabby place TWICE and had blood stolen and things shoved down my throat. But…yesterday I ate and I had a good, solid night's sleep Friday night, and I might be on the mend. We'll see. I'm eating because the vet gave me something to stimulate my appetite, and the question is whether I'll keep eating when it wears off. He can give me more if I lose my appetite again, but it would be nicer if I would just eat on my own, without help.

So, keep the questions coming, and hopefully next week I'll be back to my old, snarky self.

  2. Max, all kitties at Eastside Cats want to eat more and more, but you don't have any appetite.  Want to come here for awhile; watching our crew gobble down can after can after can of chow just might change your mind!

Please feel better, dear Max.  You make our lives richer; your snarkiness is so appealing!  Do if for us, if you don't want to do it for yourself…

  3. Angel and Gandalf says:

Max, I have not been keeping up with you because it is very difficult to see at the moment. I have 2 cataract surgeries coming up, one in January and one in February. I do hope this not feeling well  was just a temporary trouble!  It seems that it just might be Budsah stalking you all the time. That can be a real strain and you are not able to see him which makes it nerve wracking all the time. I love you precious Max!  I am sure the Woman and the Man will keep you safe. Very very dangerous stuff like stalking an old kitty is not good!  Hang in there!

  7. Awww Max hope your better soon. Hugs and Purrs. x

  12. Erin the Cat says:

Hi Max!  So sorry to here you have been off form. I can imagine that your staff have been very busy as well as stressed out about it all. That stabby place sure is motivation enough to eat and get well– but if you have to go you have to go… which works well for both peeing and going to the vets, MOL.

I do hope you get better very soon as we miss your snark and what not– plus I am still hoping to get that introduction to the new Dr Who…. that is once you and she have got to know each other and past the exchange of phone numbers stage 😉

Now as to question? Hmm, that's a toughie as we are very busy with writing books and what not. OK, here we go, so what will your next book be and is there a book that you really really want to write but haven't had a chance yet.

Another question would is: If you could change books, and be characters in them, too, what would those books be and what characters would you become, and why.

Toodle pips and get well purrs

    ERin

  13. Laurel Glasco says:

Oh, Max, my darling boy! Please, please feel better soon. You know that not eating is a serious thing if you are a cat, humans can not eat and be fine, but not cats. I am saying a prayer for you right now!

Try hard to nibble on some treats!

    Sending love,

    Laurel Glasco
