Good News Tewsday: Boston SWAT Cat Gets Fancy New Condo

March 21, 2017 |

cat-7May I get a round of app-paws for Officer Jamie Pietroski and the Boston SWAT team, who recently gifted their resident stray cat with a fancy new condo?

The cat, a calico known as “SWAT Cat,” has been fed and cared for by Boston’s SWAT unit since 2013. They decided she needed a crib to call her own. Officer Pietroski  stayed late after work for several nights painstakingly preparing SWAT Cat’s new home, ensuring that the mascot would be cozy during the frigid winter months.

The condo features a spacious studio interior layout, a large deck for outdoor dining and glass sliding doors offering panoramic city views.

It took SWAT Cat 37 seconds to move in and mark it as her own.
