Handsome Happy Marv

Many of you have met the cat rescued from overseas who now oversees the Marvelous is Marvelous blog. Marv takes great selfies.

Funny Farmer Felines: Please introduce yourself and your human.

Marv: Hi Guys! I am Marvelous, and I live with my human that I call Mom. Say Hi to Taylor, Cyndi, Rusty, Micah and Percy, Mommy! No! Don’t pick them up and snorggle them! This is serious! I know that Cyndi is a Tortie and Tortie’s are beautiful! And I bet she knows that too!

Funny Farmer Felines: If you have any furry siblings, please introduce them too.

Marv: I do–sort of–have siblings…Kozmo, Jo Jo and Cinnamon (the Dog). They have been here with me a few times. They live with their Dad in the middle of nowhere. Queen Penelope (Nellie) – who was the Cat From Hell and is now an Angel and found me for my Mom – lived with them.

Funny Farmer Felines: How did you come to live together?

Marv: My rescuer in Iran works tirelessly to save, rehabilitate, and heal all the poor dogs who have been maimed, abused and abandoned in Iran. If it were not for her and others like her, all these dogs who found kind adoptive families in Canada would have perished in horrible ways. She is so compassionate that when she came upon me at death’s door suffering from respiratory problems, she rescued me! After some time at the vet I recovered. My rescuer wanted me to find a home in Canada too! Angel Nellie came to me and asked if I would take care of her Mom. She told me her Mom LOVES cats and has raised many, who have had difficult lives, and we would be purrfect together. And we are.

Funny Farmer Felines: Tell us a little about the area where you live.

Marv: For a year, I lived in a small barren room and now I live in my townhouse in Richmond BC in Canada. It is glorious! I have 3 levels to play on, loads of stairs to race up and down and the best Burd TV EVER!!!

Funny Farmer Felines: Do you have any nicknames?

Marv: Most of the time I am called Marv, but Mom does call me Baby or Big Boy or YOU BRAT. (Hee Hee!)

plenty of fish dating reviews

Funny Farmer Felines: What kind of mischief do you like to get into?

Marv: I would say I am a good boy, but Mom would say that I have decimated her plants and I do like to bite her (not too hard since the first time) mostly they are love bites.

(Mom wrote a post about the https://mousebreath.com/dating-a-man-30-years-older-than-me/.  She is still having effects from the Ostiomylitis (bone infection). After she had a tooth extraction, she got an infection in her jaw and will be susceptible for recurrences for a long, long time.

Funny Farmer Felines: Do you participate in any blogging events?

Marv: I have a blog and I try to post at least 6 days a week. I have pawticipated in loads of Cat events and some that are just special days, like dress-up Your Pet Day. (I did get to be part of Princess Erin and Valentine’s adventure–I saved Erin from a Kraken! It was so EXCITING!!!) I have only been blogging since last August, but Angel Nellie blogged for 8 years! I am excited about all the ones that are coming up!

Funny Farmer Felines: Do you belong to the Cat Scouts?

Marv: Alas, Mom works more than full time and she says we do not have the time. I would have to give up a blogging day…or cuddle time.

Funny Farmer Felines: Are you on any social media you would like to share with readers?

Marv: The only social media I, Marvelous, actively pawticipate in is my blog.

Funny Farmer Felines: What is your greatest love and your biggest fear?

Marv: My greatest love is Ratty! He is my constant companion since I rescued him from the end of the stick he was tied to when I first came to live with Mom. My biggest fear is Dogs! Especially Cinnamon, and when strange people come to my townhouse I hide in my sanctuary–but we do not have too many visitors. Oh yes, I am scared of the sucky monster too!

Funny Farmer Felines: Does your human foster any furbabies, work or volunteer for a shelter, make pet-related products ….?

Marv: Mommy does paint pet portraits when she has the time. She has painted many of the friends of Angel Nellie (and now My friends too). If you want to see a few, they are on Angel Nellie’s Blog.

Funny Farmer Felines: How would you describe yourself?

Marv: I am a very HAPPY cat! I came from a terrible place and lived in a vet’s backroom and now I have my glorious townhouse! It is so light and airy and I have so much space to run around in! I get to eat the best food, I have many toys AND my Mom! What is there not to be happy about? I smile ALL the time!

Funny Farmer Felines: If we were to ask your human mom what she loves best about you, what do you think she would say?

Marv: I know Mom loves my sense of humor and my happy purrsonality. I am also an excellent nurse. She has been quite ill this last year and I take excellent care of her. You agree, don’t you Mom?

Funny Farmer Felines: Is there anything we missed that would pertain to you?

Marv: I would just like to add, A house is not a home until there’s a cat in it. Adopt a shelter cat!

Funny Farmer Felines: Stop by Marvelous is Marvelous. We’re certain Marv will be happy to teach you how to take a great selfie.

  4. Dearest Prince Marvelous, I was so pleased you were there to rescue me, and I know Valentine would not have entrusted you with such an important task if you were not MARVELOUS. You have given a great interview there and so good that you are there for your mom. I hate dogs too, so you are not alone there.

  10. Marv! What a GREAT interview!!! You did very well explaining how you got your FOREVER with the bestest Mommy ever. We are so very happy you are safe and well fed and healthy now. I wish you did have time for Cat Scouts with me and Angel Sammy but I know how HARD your Mom works. Maybe one day – who knows. It’s wonderful that Angel Nellie arranged your adoption and trip out of Iran to Canada – just like Angel Sammy made sure my Mom and Dad adopted ME from the same shelter they got him! Life is good!

    Big Hugs, Teddy
