Letterpress Cards are the Cat’s Meow

I’m a letterpress addict. Letterpress is a technique of relief printing that uses a printing press in a process by which many copies are produced by repeated direct impression of an inked, raised surface against the paper surface. In an electronic world, it is sadly a lost art.

Mejiro Graphics is keeping letterpress–and cats!– alive with a delightful array of Asian-inspired cat art letterpress cards. Each card is hand-printed on an 1890 Chandler & Price printing press. They hand-mix the ink and print one color at a time.

Each card is $5.50… a bargain for a little work of art. Enjoy!
