Fans of Star Trek Discovery were immediate fans of cat-loving comic Tig Notaro. She has a verrrrry dry wit and though initially her character was found on an alien planet (without a cat) and it was a guest spot planned for an episode or two, Tig scored a full-time role on the show. (She and Tilly are my favorite characters.) Tig hosts a Funny or Die talk show that also features my best friend Alexa. (Don’t miss Captain Cat in the outro).
