Today (Thursday July 31st),  Jackson Galaxy from Animal Planet’s My Cat From Hell will be on the Pets Teach Us So Much radio show to discuss the One Picture Saves A Life Project.  Tune in at 6pm ET/3pm PT at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/tppctv. The show is also available after it airs at TPPC.tv or via the widget in the right sidebar of this page.

Pets Teach Us So Much is a hoot! I schedule my Thursdays around it. Hosts Robbin and Joseph Everett are an engaging couple who combine lighthearted pet-related news with expert pet advice and interviews with celebrities like Jackson Galaxy (and me!). The show is available on iTunes for those of you who prefer podcasts to traffic reports during your commute.

What is the One Picture Saves a Life Project?

The One Picture Saves a Life project educates shelter workers and volunteers on the life-saving difference great photos of shelter pets can make, and demonstrates how to take great photos of these pets.
Now, One Picture Saves a Life and Cats R Cool are on tour and all pet lovers are invited for some furry fun! On Sunday, August 3, 2014, the North Shore Animal League America in Port Washington, NY (home of da grate Jeter Harris) will host the next event for One Picture Saves a Life and Cats R Cool. This free workshop will have a general morning session during which attendees will hear from three special speakers (Jackson and two dog guys), followed by in-depth breakout sessions.
These pet experts will teach participants how to save more lives through grooming, positive photography, and improved shelter cat enrichment and behavior modification. The exciting workshop will leave guests feeling empowered with all the tools they need to get out, volunteer, and save shelter pets’ lives.
