SuperFluff Teddy Westlife

feline-funny-farmer-friends Taylor

We remember Teddy from when he was first introduced on his sisfur’s blog. He’s all grown up now and has a very important career helping his mum.

Funny Farmer Felines: Please introduce yourself and your human.

Teddy-03Teddy: My name is Teddy Westlife. My mum Tracey is the administrator for the Cats with Blogs Facebook Group and I am her behind-the-scenes partner.

Funny Farmer Felines: If you have any furry siblings, please introduce them too.

Teddy: She went over the Bridge a bit over four years ago but some of you might remember my big sister Huffle Mawson. We also have a dog in the family; his name is Rambo Hemsworth. We are not friends, even though he’s been here for a year.

Funny Farmer Felines: How did you come to live with your family?

Teddy: Well, I showed up at the front door in the rain one day when I was just an itty bitty kitty, about 10 weeks old. Dad felt so sorry for me that he convinced mum they should keep me, even though mum had already called the RSCPA to see where I could go. I totally won them over with my adorable cuteness in about 25 seconds.

Funny Farmer Felines: Tell us a little about the area where you live.

Teddy: I live in Melbourne, Australia. It’s pretty good. We don’t get snow. It does get very hot in the summer, and now we live in a house with a pool so I’ve been swimming twice. Both times were by accident, though.

Funny Farmer Felines: Do you have any nicknames? Teddy-02

Teddy: Mostly I get called SuperFluff or Goonish McToon. For I while when I was a baby, I thought my full name might have been “NoNoTeddyNo”, but that seems to have worn off now.

Funny Farmer Felines: What kind of mischief do you like to get into, either separately or together with your non-friend Rambo?

Teddy: I do all my mischiefing by myself. My favourite thing to do is get on the bed in the middle of the night and bite any toes that I can reach. Mum and dad really like that; they jump out of bed and get all excited every time! I also like to go on safari to the park behind our house, where I can watch the birds. One time at our old house I caught a pigeon and brought it in the house and let it go. Let me tell you, that got mum and dad really excited.

Funny Farmer Felines: What made you open a blog?

Teddy: Mum had a blog for Huffle, which I shared when I joined the family, and when Huffle died, Mum started my own for me. But we don’t blog much any more. I’m pretty famous on Facebook, though. My photos get way more comments than the stupid dog’s.

Funny Farmer Felines: Do you participate in any blogging events?

Teddy: I used to but now we don’t really blog any more. Sometimes mum trots out the Meow Like a Pirate Day picture that Mr. Puddy’s mum made for me one year. We also ran the Cat Olympics a few times; that was awesome fun.

Funny Farmer Felines: What is your greatest love and your biggest fear?

Teddy-01 Teddy: I LOVE FOOD. I would eat like a hobbit if I was allowed to – breakfast, second breakfast, elevenses, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, pre-bedtime snack… One time I tricked mum into giving me a second dinner and it was just about the best day of my life!

I am very scared of thunder and usually hide under the bed when there is a storm.

Funny Farmer Felines: How would you describe yourself?

Teddy: I am an introvert. I don’t like strangers. I don’t like to be touched. I hate being picked up. I just want to be left alone. Until I want some company. But then I want to be left alone again.

Funny Farmer Felines: If we were to ask your mom what she loves best about you, what do you think she would say?

Teddy: My mum says it is lucky I am cute, as I am a monster. I don’t know what she’s talking about. I’m a delight.

Funny Farmer Felines: Even though he hasn’t posted in a while, you might want to check out his blog Teddy Westlife – Don’t Bite.  And many of you remember his late sisfur Huffle Mawson, Explorer Cat.

  11. Flynn says:

That was a great interview, Teddy. Of course I remember Huffle very well.
Your adventure with the pigeon reminds me of my brother Eric. When we were half grown our neighbour had been shooting pigeons eating that were eating the corn and he had tied 3 together and left them outside his barn to give to his mother. It was back before our purrison fence was built and we could go visiting the neighbours.Eric came home dragging all three pigeons between his front legs. It must have been a big struggle but he managed it. He still had them taken away though.
