I’m a baker, and I love cookies. I’d make a batch every day if I weren’t in danger of weighing 800 lbs.
But this rolling pin has me reconsidering that stance. If I had a cat-embossed rolling pin, how could I resist or cookies with it every single day?
Or make my own cat treats stamped with kittehs? Or monoprints! My head swims with pawsibilities.
It is the work of Polish designer Zuzia Kozerska. She uses laser technology to carve the pins in repeating patterns featuring animals or geometric patterns. You can also commission her to do a custom engraving of your own desgin.
She uses local wood and encourages customers to use their imaginations to think of what you can use the pins for: cakes, pasta, fondant, dumplings, even clay are just a few of her suggestions.
She has an Etsy shop and each rolling pin is about $42.
