SuperZoo is North America’s premier show for the pet industry, attracting more than 18,000 pet industry professionals from across the U.S. and around the world. It’s THE place to get a sneak peek at what’s new in cat toys, treats and technology.
The “Best New Product” in their showcase is selected at the show by participating attendees voting onsite. This year, one of our favorites was voted among the top three winners: Inaba Churu and Grilled Fillets, distributed by Inaba Foods.
My cats go insane over both of these Inaba treats. Inaba Churu is a curious little squeeze tube of stinky goodness, while the Grilled Fillets are just that: a chunk of real tuna or chicken fillet in a crab broth.
Inaba has long been a pawpular cat treat brand in Japan, and has just been available in the U.S. for the last year or so.
Unfortunately, it’s a pricey treat, the kind you save for gotcha days and Christmas. But hopefully, as it gets wider distribution here, the price might come down. The fillets are $22.68 for 9 on eBay (a 10-pack is $35 on Amazon). The Churus are $19.95 for 24 tubes on Amazon. I stumbled upon the Fillets for a buck each at the dollar store, so it pays to keep your eyes open for them.
